James Russell Sims, Jr., age 83 of Louisville, passed away Friday, March 13th at Jewish Hospital ER. Russell was the son of the late James Russell & Martha Hays Sims. He was preceded by his brother Robert “Bobby” Sims and a sister, Sharon Locke-Racz.
Russell is survived by a daughter, Angelia Fredell(Michael) of Simpsonville, two sons, Kyle Sims of Munfordville and Blake Sims of Bowling Green, two brothers, Jack Sims and Tom Sims.
A memorial visitation for Russell Sims will be held on Wednesday, March 18th, from 10 am-11 am at the Sego Funeral Home with the memorial service at 11 am.
Russell was a registered organ donor with Network for Hope, and his wishes were honored as the family chose cremation
