Virginia Aline Bennett, age 94 of Barren County, passed away peacefully at Glenview Health & Rehab Center on February 12, 2026, holding the hands of her two surviving daughters.
Virginia was a devoted homemaker, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
She is survived by her loving children: Chuck Bennett (June), Brenda Morgan (Myron), and Patricia Rutherford (Eric); her brother, Lawrence Neal; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends who will carry her memory forward.
Virginia was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Lisa Bennett; her parents, Roscoe and Annie Mae Neal; grandsons Gary Green and Phillip Sexton; sisters Jean Byrd and Elizabeth Abner; son Gary Bennett; and her dear companion, Charles Luther Bennett.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the funeral home toward funeral expenses.
