Caverna blitzed Glasgow in the second and third quarters Tuesday night to roll to an 89-56 win at home.
After the first quarter, the Colonels led the Scotties, 18-16, when Tyson Martin put back an offensive rebound at the buzzer.
Jaylen Bradley hit a jumper 22 seconds into the second quarter, which tied the game at 18-all. From there, Caverna posted an 11-0 run over the next three minutes to take its first double-digit lead, 29-18. The teams exchanged baskets for the next couple of minutes before the Colonels closed the half on a 9-2 run to lead 43-26 at the break.
Caverna led by 30 after three quarters, 68-38.
Bradley and Landon Minton each scored 14 points to lead Glasgow, while Tyson Martin led Caverna with 23, while Gavin Lightning scored 21, Kenyon Martin posted 14 points, and Cortavian Maxey finished with 13.
Glasgow returns to action Friday night at Allen County-Scottsville in a critical 15th District contest, while Caverna plays at LaRue County at 7:30 p.m. Friday in an 18th District showdown.
