Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of New Bowling Green Road and Bon Ayr Road on Thursday afternoon.
“The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2017 GMC Sierra, operated by Brighton Warren, was traveling from Bon Ayr Road and entered the intersection, pulling into the path of a 2008 Chevrolet HHR operated by Roxann Mayhugh,” the Barren County Sheriff’s Office stated in a press release.
“As a result of the collision, Mayhugh sustained injuries and was transported to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, for treatment,” the press release stated. “A juvenile passenger in Mayhugh’s vehicle was treated at T. J. Samson Community Hospital for minor injuries.”
The collision remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office.
