Glasgow rallied in the fourth quarter at Apollo on Saturday to win, 58-52. The Lady Scotties posted a 19-11 rally in the fourth quarter to overcome a 41-39 lead after three quarters.
The E-gals jumped ahead of Glasgow, 14-8, in the first quarter. Both teams entered the game having not played in a week due to a winter storm that hit Kentucky beginning Jan. 23.
The Lady Scotties trailed 28-24 at halftime. Glasgow outscored Apollo in each quarter other than the first.
Kinley Stephens and Reese England each scored 13 points to lead the Lady Scotties, while Kayla Kirkpatrick added 11.
Glasgow returns to action tonight at Caverna. The girls’ game tips at 6.
