Glasgow rallied at South Warren on Tuesday, but fell a point shy of completing the comeback. The Scotties had a potential game-winning shot bounce of the rim and lost, 59-58.
Glasgow fell behind 17-13 in the first quarter. Then trailed 27-23 at halftime after both teams scored 10 points in the second period.
The Spartans posted a two-point edge in the third quarter, and led 47-41 after three.
The Scotties rallied with a 17-12 advantage in the fourth quarter, and had a shot with about eight seconds left in the game to take the lead.
Landon Minton led Glasgow with 19 points, while Jaylen Bradley added 16, and Jerrick Martin and Jackson Norris each scored 11. Carter Hodges made a free throw for the only other Glasgow point in the game.
