Glasgow community members gathered at the Mary Wood Weldon Memorial Library on Monday night to embrace various New Years celebrations from around the world.

Jordan Crain, a UK extension agent who led the event, said she really enjoys sharing these traditions with others, and that one of her favorites is the King Cake, because she always likes to see who gets the baby.
