A pedestrian was taken to the hospital after being hit by a truck in Glasgow on Jan. 5.
The injury collision happened on Cleveland Avenue, according to a Glasgow police press release. A preliminary investigation showed that a 2001 Mazda Truck that was being driven by Jacob Pate hit William Crain as he walked in the area.
Pate was traveling eastbound on Cleveland Avenue, according to the release.
Crain was transported by Barren-Metcalfe EMS to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for his injuries, according to Glasgow police. Pate does not appear in the Barren County Detention Center as of Jan. 6 at 7:15 a.m.
The collision was investigated by officer Johnathan Pendley, assisted by the Barren-Metcalfe EMS and the Glasgow Fire Department.
