Med Center Health seeks entrants for its annual Women in Art Exhibit.

Jake Hook with Med Center Health told Glasgow News 1 that six people from Glasgow entered their artwork in this exhibit in 2025 with two winning awards. No names were provided.

The 34th annual exhibit is open to any female artists 18 years of age or older who live in Kentucky, according to a Med Center Health press release. Artwork can be paintings, sculptures, ceramics, “works on paper,” fiber works and photography, the release stated. There is a $25 entry fee and two pieces of artwork are allowed per person.

Awards include Special Purchase, Cash Merit, Honorable Mention, and ArtWorks Award, according to Med Center Health. The exhibition committee and a juror will also select the 2026 Special Purchase Award piece, which will be purchased by and displayed at The Medical Center.

In celebration of Med Center Health’s 100th anniversary, a special award will be given for a piece of artwork that details “a century of caring in [the] community,” the center stated.

“Med Center Health is pleased to provide female artists with an opportunity to showcase their work,” the release stated.

The deadline to submit artwork is Feb. 13 and the exhibit will take place on March 13-14 at The Medical Center-WKU Health Sciences Complex. The exhibit is open to the public.
