Barren County Nursing and Rehabilitation was recognized among the top long-term facilities in the commonwealth during the Kentucky Coalition for Aging Resources and Empowerment’s quality awards banquet.

“It is an honor for our team and facility to be recognized as one of Kentucky’s top long-term care facilities with the Best of Kentucky award,” said Administrator of Barren County Nursing and Rehabilitation Sarah Rowe. “This achievement reflects the unwavering dedication, compassion, and excellence our team shows every single day. Our staff goes above and beyond to ensure our residents receive the highest quality of care, and this recognition is a true testament to their hard work. I am grateful to lead such an exceptional team and proud of the meaningful difference we make together in our community.”

The Best of Kentucky – Nursing and Rehabilitation honorees must possess a Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services star rating of four or higher to apply. The rating system, in which five is the best rating, represents the overall quality of the facility, CMS.gov stated. Barren County Nursing and Rehabilitation has an overall rating of four stars, according to medicare.gov.

“We are honored to recognize these deserving providers at the top of their class,” said Coalition President Adam Mather. “These providers have faced challenges with innovation and positivity and have gone above and beyond to ensure the best quality of life for their residents.”

The facility is located at 300 Westwood St. in Glasgow.
