As part of the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign, the Cave City Police Department will be conducting traffic safety checkpoints.
The checkpoints will occur between the months of December and January, according to a department press release, and will be conducted from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. The checkpoints will be “clearly marked,” the release stated.
Checkpoint locations include:
- 400 block of Mammoth Cave Street
- 800 block of Mammoth Cave Road
- Old Lexington Road and Cemetery Road
- Grinstead Mill Road and Blair Road
- Old Horse Cave Road and the Hart County line
- Happy Valley Road and Estes Road
- 400 block of North Dixie Highway
- Louisville Road and Happy Valley Road
- The Interstate 65 interchange and Mammoth Cave Road
The Glasgow Police Department and the Kentucky State Police are also participating in the enforcement campaign.
