The Louisville Orchestra announced that they will again perform on the Glasgow Public Square on Tuesday, July 8.
This appearance is part of their In Harmony Commonwealth Tour, which since its start in November of 2022 has reached over 27,000 Kentuckians in 38 counties. The orchestra estimates that 1,750 people came to their performance on the Glasgow Public Square on July 10, 2024.
“These tours not only showcased an exceptional blend of classical and contemporary music but also deepened our engagement with communities, reaching diverse audiences and fostering a renewed appreciation for orchestral music,” the orchestra’s website states.
The orchestra said they’ve recently been awarded $4.3 million to continue the tour into 2026.
The event will take place at 7:30 p.m. and is a free event.
