Peggy Hill Howell, age 85, of Linwood, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at NHC of Glasgow. She was a lifelong resident of Hart and Larue Counties. Peggy spent many years as a Senior Citizen Center Manager, and was a caregiver later in life. She was a member of the Cosby United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Dwight “Red” Hill, and Helen Graham Hill; her son, Tony Howell.
She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Kost (Dean), and Julie Howell; two grandchildren, Myles Howell, and McKay Howell; one brother, Rev. Harry Hill (Peggy); and her Cosby Church Family.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM CST on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Cosby Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Winn Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, from 4:00PM CST – 8:00PM CST, and after 8:00AM Wednesday until the time of the service. The family request that memorial contributions be given to the Cosby United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
