Harold Clay Turner

Harold Clay Turner, 98, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024, at the Shanti Niketan Hospice Home in Glasgow Kentucky. He was born in Monroe County, Kentucky, on July 25, 1926, to the late Tomp Turner and the late Minnie Trivitt Turner. Clay served his country in the US Army and is a World War II veteran. After his time in the military, Clay spent many years working on the pipeline in California before returning to Kentucky. After his return, he enjoyed his time working on the farm with his wife and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Earlene Turner and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nine siblings.
I lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to a charity of your choice in Clay’s honor.
The funeral service for Mr. Turner will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, October 13, 2024, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 10:00 AM until time for the service at the funeral home.
