Thurasa Milby Wilson of Clarksville, Tennessee, daughter of the late Holland Moss Milby and Maryland D. Cowherd Milby, was born on Friday, May 11, 1951 in Campbellsville, Kentucky and departed this life on Thursday, October 3, 2024 in Nashville. She was 73 years, 4 months, and 23 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Real Life Sango Church in Clarksville, Tennessee. She was a director at Kinder Care Learning Center.
Survived by her husband: Gary E. Wilson of Clarksville, Tennessee, united in marriage on December 2, 1968.
Other survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Dr. Amye and John Melton of Clarksville, Tennessee; a son and daughter-in-law: Jeff and Laurel Wilson of Johnson City, Tennessee; four grandchildren: Addison Wilson, Jacob Wilson, Wesley and Stephanie Melton, Oliver Jamieson all of Tennessee: two great-grandchildren: Natalie Melton and Scarlett both of Tennessee: three brothers and one sister-in-law: Paul and Melinda Milby of Greensburg, Gary Milby of Gallatin, Tennessee, Mike Milby of Greensburg.
Besides her parents, she is also preceded in death by a sister: Marcia Milby; a brother: Steve Milby.

The funeral services for Thurasa Milby Wilson will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Central Time, Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with cremation to follow and inurnment in the Greensburg Cemetery. Bro. Freddy T. Wyatt officiating.
Visitation is requested after 10 A.M., Central Time, Saturday at the funeral home until time of the funeral service.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take form of donation to St. Jude, which can be made at the funeral home.
