Dixie Lee Frost Williams age 84 of Scottsville, died peacefully at her home of her niece in Louisville on Friday, September 27 at 12:43 am. Dixie was born in Scottsville, Kentucky to the late John Kelly and Josie Lloyd Frost. She is the widow of Frank Delano Williams.
She is also preceded in death by her sons. Johnny Victor Blankenship and Ronnie Williams, sister Mary Frances Hammer and 3 brothers, John Frost, Phillip Gordon Frost and Billy Frost.
She was a Methodist and a retired Certified Nurse Aide.
She is survived by her son, Melvin of Glasgow. A brother, Harold Frost of Allen County. Grandchildren, Crystal Blankenship of Edmonton, Steven and Michael Blankenship both of Glasgow, and Kim Cherry of Scottsville, Several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
Dixie requested to be cremated and the family chose to honor her wishes. No services have been set at this. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel.
