William Truman Tweedy of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, was born on Sunday, November 4, 1945 in Columbia, Kentucky and departed this life on Friday, September 13, 2024 in Louisville. He was 78 years, 10 months, and 9 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ. He was a Line worker for GE for many years and served in the United States Army.
Survived by his wife: Margaret Lillian Tweedy of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, having united in marriage on June 2, 1984.
Other survivors include a stepson and his wife: Tracy and Pam Bale of Summersville; five grandchildren: Shelbi Bale of Bowling Green, Gage Bale of Summersville, Grace Bale of Summersville, Natalie Warren of Campbellsville, Kelsey Wood of Walton, Kentucky; six great-grandchildren: Ryland, Kase, Hadley, Ty, Rae Lynn, James; he is also survived by two sisters.

The funeral services for William Truman Tweedy will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Central Time, Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Wilson Cemetery. Bro. Daniel Marcum officiating.
Visitation is requested after 10:30 A.M., Central Time, Tuesday at the funeral home until time of the service.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take form of donation to the Wilson Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
