Glenna Dorris, age 94, passed away Friday September 13, 2024 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.
Born October, 09, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Clay and Clemia McGehee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Freeman Dorris and one son, Barry Freeman Dorris.
Glenna was a member of the Lost River Church of Christ; she loved being with her grandchildren and working in her yard.
She is survived by her two sons, Larry Dorris (Beverly) and Jason Dorris (Tammy), her grandchildren, Tyler Dorris (Jessica), Aaron Dorris (Anna), Joshua Dorris (Sydnee), Oliva Payne (Josh), great grandchildren, Parker Dorris, Sawyer Dorris, Aubrey Yates, Clay Dorris, Jase Payne, and Jet Payne, one sister LaThell Dymacek (David), several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be Sunday September 15, 2024 from 5:00PM – 7:00 PM and Monday September 16, 2024 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel with Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 AM followed by burial in the Bowling Green Gardens.
