Lula B. Spalding, age 77, of Cave City, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024, at Baptist Health Hospital in Louisville. She was born on July 13, 1946, to the late Poynter Bryant and Adiline Powell. Lula was retired from GE, and was a member of the Cave City Christian Church.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Joseph M. Spalding, Sr, her siblings, Coy Howard Bryant, Elbert Frank Bryant, Dolan Bryant, Norma Jean Bryant, Kathleen Atwell, and Silovine Reynolds.
She is survived by two daughters, Karen Miller, and Penny Holloman, four stepsons, Joseph Spalding, Jr., Jason Spalding, Joshua Spalding, and Billy Spalding, thirteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at Winn Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at 1:00 P.M CST. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 4:00 P.M. CST to 8:00 P.M. CST, and after 8:00 A.M. on Wednesday until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow in the Whickerville Cemetery.
