Mrs. Mamie Joyce (Ross) Coe of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024, at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Kentucky, having attained the age of 75 years, 2 months, and 2 days. She was born on Friday, April 8, 1949 in Evanston, Illinois, the daughter of Booker T. and Allie (Draper) Ross. She was of the Christian faith, a member of Burkesville Community Church, the church secretary for 40 years, and a office manager for Topps Apparel. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Booker T. Ross Jr..
She is survived by her husband, Fraheise “Francis” Coe, whom she wed Saturday, August 31, 1969, son, Craig (& Raykesha) Coe all of Burkesville, and a granddaughter, Kendra Allie Coe.
The graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the Coe Ridge Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky, with Rev. James E. Starks and Rev. Ronnie Bryant officiating, with burial to follow. The family will receive friends after 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. NOON, on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at the Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky.
