Christine Evelyn Proffitt Agers of Glasgow, KY passed away June 1, 2024 at the age of 95. Christine was born in Monroe County, KY to Bertie Kelly Proffitt and Minnie Lee Fults Proffitt. She was a member of South Green Church of Christ in Glasgow. Married to
James Lester Agers May 29, 1945 in Louisville, KY. Christine was an AVON and Studio Girl Cosmetics Representative and served as an Area Manager for Studio Girl for a number of years.
Christine is survived by her Son Tim K Agers, Daughter and law Donna Agers, Grandson James J Agers, Grandson Lee M Agers, Great Granddaughter Summer Lee Agers, Step Grandson Richard Dobie, Step Granddaughter Robin Hammel along with Step
Great Granddaughter Ashle Gunkle and several Nieces and Nephews.
She was the last remaining child of Bertie and Minnie Lee Proffitt. She lost her husband James L Agers in 2011 and her first-born Son James G. Agers in 2019. Her Father, Mother, seven Brothers and five Sisters proceeded Her in death.
She will be Cremated with no services or memorial. J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel have been entrusted with arrangements.
Donations to the Isenburg Cemetery in Monroe County will be appreciated.
