James Theodore Russell age 84 of Bowling Green, passed away peacefully at the Medical Center of Friday, May 31, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Bowling Green to the late John Albert and Millie Lucille Cardwell Russell and also preceded in death by his daughter Tammy Bratcher, a son Jimmy Dale Russell and a brother Mose Russell.. Theodore was a Farmer and member of the Oak Forest Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Eunice Faye Russell of Bowling Green. His children; Libby White (Johnny) of Bowling Green, Phyllis Jones (Alvin) of Morgantown, Waynette Hyams of Butler County, Regina Helson of Bowling Green and James Albert “Bub” Russell (Sherry) of Bowling Green. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. A brother, David Wayne Russell of Bowling Green.
Funeral Services will be on Wednesday at 1:00 pm at the J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Chapel on Broadway with burial in the Archie Newman Wilson Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, From 3:00 pm until 8:00pm and again on Wednesday after 10:00am until the time of service.
