Mark Griffin, 60, of Scottsville, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Barren County Nursing and Rehabilitation in Glasgow. The Floresville, TX native was the son of the late Homer Griffin and Von Thompson Griffin Ward, who survives. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Scott Louis Griffin and Gregory Paul Ward.
Mr. Griffin was a truck driver for Covenant Trucking and a member of Wildwood Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Von Ward (Paul); one son, Travis Griffin (Alexis); two daughters, Shaylynn Griffin, Jessica Kirsch (Andrew); three grandchildren, McKenzie Kirsch, Graye Griffin, and Aero Dean Griffin; one sister, Paula Jean Bachman; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home with burial to follow in Otter Gap Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home on Saturday.
