March is Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month. Glasgow Mayor Henry Royse and Barren County Judge-Executive Jamie Bewley Bird signed a proclamation Tuesday, dedicating March 19th as a day to make aware of what those with cerebral palsy deal with, and how community support is a big factor in the improvement of lives. A young man by the name of Matthew Mattox Johnson was on hand for the signing as well.
Well-known Glasgow citizen Justin Hiser could not be in attendance for the proclamation, but had Judge Byrd read the following statement.
Byrd went on to read the proclamation.
