(ALLEN COUNTY DETENTION CENTER)
SCOTTSVILLE – On Tuesday, at approximately 3:30am, the Scottsville Police Department received a call to East Maple Street in reference to a male subject that had been stabbed.
Upon arrival SPD made contact with the victim which was later transported by EMS to The Medical Center Bowling Green ER for treatment where his condition is unknown at this time. Through investigation, it was determined that the incident happened at ALCO Apartments and that Cain A. Pennington, 35, of Scottsville, allegedly entered the apartment and stabbed the victim.
Through further investigation it was determined that Pennington was residing in Bowling Green. With the assistance of Bowling Green Police Department, Pennington was located, arrested, and charged with the following:
- Assault 1st Degree
- Burglary 1st Degree
Pennington is currently being lodged in the Allen County Detention Center.
