LOCKPORT Ky. (09/25/2023) – A Lexington man is dead following a collision on Sunday.
Troopers from Kentucky State Police Post 5 in Campbellsburg responded to the accident scene on River Road in Lockport.
The preliminary investigation indicated that a Nissan passenger car was traveling south on Kentucky 389 before exiting the left side of the roadway for an unknown reason. The vehicle then struck a tree.
The driver and sole occupant of the Nissan, Justin Brindley of Lexington, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Henry County Coroner. Next of kin has been notified.
KSP Post 5 is conducting the ongoing investigation.
