Matthew E. Shrock, age 37, of Munfordville, KY, passed Friday, January 13, 2023, at TriStar Skyline in Nashville. Matthew was born July 22, 1985 to Enos Shrock and Lydia Mast Shrock. He was married to Elizabeth Byler on April 19, 2007.
Along with his wife of 15 years, he is survived by his two daughters, Leah Mae Shrock, and Elli Rose Shrock; his four sons, Steven Shrock, Paul Shrock, Jonathan Shrock, Joni Shrock; five sisters, Emma Shrock, Ruth (David) Miller, Leah Mae (David) Yoder, Rachel (Nathan) Miller, and Catherine (Aaron) Detweiler; four brothers, David Shrock, Samuel (Elizabeth) Shrock, Simon (Clara) Shrock, and Nathaniel (Katie) Shrock.
The family is currently receiving friends till – 8:00 PM CT on Sunday, January 15, 2023 and again on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM CT. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 AM CT on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at the home of his parents, 1581 Cave Hill Rd., Munfordville, KY 42765, with Bishop Lonnie Detweiler officiating. Burial will follow in the Wheelers Mills Cemetery.
