Georgia P. Glover, 92, Glasgow, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2026 at the Shanti Niketan Hospice Home. A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of the late John Melvin Pedigo and Mary Elizabeth Bybee Pedigo.
Georgia was a legal secretary who had worked in the law offices of attorneys in the Glasgow area. She had also worked several years in the Barren County Judge’s Office. She has been member of the Bethel Methodist Church for 58 years where she had also served as treasurer for 30 of those years. She was an avid bowler who loved to travel.
Survivors include two children: Gina Lyon (Kirt) of Cave City, and Brad Glover (Kathy Holland) of Bowling Green; a daughter-in-law, Karen Maxwell (Bobby) of Glasgow; eight grandchildren: Ashley Johnson (Robbie), Adam Glover (Rachel), Jacob Glover (Azra), Casey Glover (J J McCord), Will Holland, Jessica Roberts (Heath), Rebecca Gatlin (Reed), and Lynsey Maxwell; eight great-grandchildren: Maclyn, Avney, Indie, Livi, Mila, Rudie, Whitlee, and Moe; a special friend, Jim Stewart; along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Roy Howard Glover; a son, Greg Glover; and all of her seven siblings.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 3, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, October 2 and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Kentucky United Methodist Children’s Home.
