Linda Sue (Hale) Davis, 83, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Monday, September 21st, at Celina Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Sue was born in Fountain Run, KY on January 26, 1943, a daughter of the late Gertrude (Harp) and Clay Hale.
On June 10, 1961, she married George Edward Davis at the home of Benny Davis in Carthage, TN. George Edward preceded her in death on September 10, 2022.
Sue worked at Red Kap sewing factory for many years. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, being outdoors in her flowers, crafting and spending time with her grandchildren.
Sue is survived by a daughter, Angie Payne, of Tompkinsville, KY; two sons, Paul Davis, and wife, Carole, of Tompkinsville, KY; Chris Davis, and wife, Amanda, of Tompkinsville, KY; six grandchildren, Cassie England (Eric), Kelly Davis (Kaitlyn), Gavin Davis (Lacy), Hanna Turner (Nick), Alexis Hunley (Adam), Matthew Payne (Kourtney); and seven great grandchildren.
Other than her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by two great grandchildren and one sister, Shirley Costello.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 24th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, with burial to follow at Harlans Crossroad Cemetery.
Visitation is Wednesday, 5:30-8:00 p.m., and Thursday, 8:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
