Bro. Stanley E. Spencer, age 90, of Horse Cave, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family. He was a proud member of Echo Mission Church. Stanley loved preaching, singing, and playing his guitar.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Dee Spencer, and Annie Pearl Watson Spencer; two children, Ronnie Steve Spencer, and Terry Spencer; two siblings, James Spencer, and Mary Huff.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lorine Spencer; ten children, AD Spencer (Lillie), Darrell Spencer (Theresa), Laura Bush (Danny), Drema Doss (the late Bro. Ira), Ricky Spencer, Kim Harper (Dickie), Judy Harlow, Tammy Hayes (Rickey), Stacey Spencer, and Theresa Stover; 24 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Winn Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at the Spencer Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Winn Funeral Home, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and will continue after 10:00 AM on Friday until the time of the service at 1:00 PM.
