Tonya Dishman, age 66, of Canmer, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026, at Shanti-Niketan Hospice Home in Glasgow. She was a Hart County Native, and a member of the Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Tonya devoted her life to social work. She loved ghost hunting and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy Dishman, and Doris June Overfelt Dishman Atwell.
She is survived by one son, Christian Dishman; one aunt, Claudia Crump; one uncle, Buddy Overfelt; one cousin, Shane Overfelt (Missy); special friends, Elaine Devore, Ann Colvin, and Rodney Williams.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00PM Noon on Monday, August 17, 2026, at Winn Funeral Home. Entombment will follow the service at the Dishman Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 3:00PM to 7:00PM, and will continue after 9:00AM on Monday until the time of the service at 12:00PM.
