Today is Cherie Eads Day on WCLU!
Cherie will be honored at the upcoming CARE Power Hour for her story that stands as a reminder that survivorship does not mean a final treatment date or ringing a bell, but quietly pressing on one appointment and one day at a time.
The CARE Power Hour Luncheon will be held Friday, July 24th at 11:30 a.m. at the T.J. Health Pavilion Community Center. Proceeds from the event benefit Community Medical Care’s Breaking Barriers to Care program, helping local cancer patients with transportation to treatments, nutritional support, mastectomy supplies, wigs, head coverings, and other resources.
