Dorothy Jane Scott Mosier, 90, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at the Barren County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was retired from Sorenson’s. She was a daughter of the late Richard and Pearl McIntyre Scott.
She is survived by one son: Larry Fields (Demetris); three grandchildren: Shelly Smith (Steven), Michael Fields (Meaghan) and Allie Anderson; one step-daughter: Melody Ann Mosier Harrison (Todd); six step grandchildren: Tashia, Cody, Alexis, Emily, Chandler and Blake; several great-grandchildren and great great- grandchildren: her companion: Raymond Jones; special caregiver: Alma Sullivan; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Ronnie Lee Mosier; step-daughter: Misty Jane Mosier; six brothers: Berchie Scott, Cecil Scott, Ira Scott, Russell Scott, Welby Scott and Kermit Scott; four sisters: Francis Owens, Hazel Bean, Nina Bean, and Lela Scott.
The family is following Dorothy’s wishes by having cremation with no services. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
