Kathy Coomer Pollak ,72, of Vacaville, California, and formerly of Hiseville, Kentucky, passed away April 3, 2026 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Kathy was born the seventh of ten children to Lawrence and Bernice Atwell Coomer on December 20, 1953. Kathy was a 1971 graduate of Hiseville High School and was employed as Office Manager of CalBay in Vallejo, California
Kathy will be lovingly remembered as having a very kind, loving heart and a great sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by her family, who loved her dearly.
In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her son Jeff Austin (Michelle) of Dixon, California; twin daughters, Jennifer Balock (Charles) of Forest Hill, California and Samantha Pollak of Washington DC. Grandson, Ethan Austin and granddaughters Alania Austin, Sunny Balock and Brooklyn Balock.
She is also survived by sisters Judy Gossom and Vickie Mosby of Glasgow, Teresa London of Hiseville. Brothers, Phil Coomer of Alvaton and Tim Coomer of Hiseville, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Cremation was chosen and a private family celebration of life for Kathy was held.
