Linda Lee Ward, 64, of Horse Cave, Kentucky, passed away on April 26, 2026.
Known for a gentle heart and a work ethic defined by kindness, she served for 16 years in the Dietary Department at NHC Healthcare. As a devoted daughter and sister, she centered her life around her family and held a particularly deep love for her parents. This devotion was reciprocated in her final years, as she was tenderly cared for by her mother, Juanita, and her sister, Kimberly. While she did not have children of her own, she shared a unique and tender bond with Kimberly and loved and cared for her nephews, Ryan and Logan, deeply. She was a selfless soul who always had a kind word and a smile for those around her, and she will be remembered for the quiet compassion and warmth she brought into the lives of her friends and family.
She is survived by her mother, Juanita Ward; her sisters, Kimberly Ward and Lisa Schuler; her nephews, Ryan and Logan Ward; and her extended family of several aunts, uncles, and a niece with several great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Vincent Lee Ward; her brother, David Lee Ward; and her grandparents, Henry and Ada Maulden, and Margaret and Edward Releford. Her memory will remain a source of comfort to all who were touched by her sweetness.
