Glasgow turned a big sixth inning into a 7-6 win at Campbellsville on Thursday.

Ayvah Maxey sparked a four-run rally with two outs in the top of the sixth with a single. Gracie Walker followed with a single to right field. She and Maxey advanced an extra base on the throw back to the infield.

Maxey scored on a passed ball during Kerrigan Hagan’s at-bat. Hagan eventually drew a walk. That run tied the game, 4-4.

Walker, who had taken third base on the passed ball, scored on a single by Kayla Kirkpatrick. Another passed ball allowed Hagan to score, and for Kirkpatrick to move to third.

Jakylie Green drew a walk before England drove in Kirkpatrick with a single.

Campbellsville scored runs in the bottom of the sixth an seventh, but Hagan struck out the final batter to preserve the one-run win.

Hagan pitched seven innings. She allowed nine hits, struck out nine and walked one.

England and Walker each nailed two hits to lead the Lady Scotties, while Maxey, Hagan, Kirkpatrick and NaTaya Lightfoot each posted a hit.

Glasgow improved to 5-9 overall with the win. Metcalfe County visits Glasgow on Friday at 5 p.m.
