Glasgow dropped a 15th District contest at Allen County-Scottsville on Thursday, 7-1.
The Lady Scotties fell behind 7-0, but had a shot to rally in the top of the sixth inning. Kayla Kirkpatrick singled to lead off the inning. Jakylie Green followed with a single, the Paige De Haas nailed a single to right field that loaded the bases. Raygan Wyatt entered to run for De Haas.
Kirkpatrick eventually scored on a single by Kinley Stephens. Stephens was thrown out at first on the play, and Wyatt and Green each moved up a base.
Glasgow was unable to get another run across the plate.
The Lady Patriots took control of the game by scoring four runs in the bottom of the third inning. They led 6-0 after that inning.
The Lady Scotties posted seven hits in the game, including a double by Reece England. Kirkpatrick had two hits, while Kerrigan Hagan, Green, De Haas, and Stephens each also had a hit.
Hagan suffered the loss in the circle. She pitched six innings, allowed 10 hits, struck out five and walked four.
