Glasgow fell to Green County, 7-6, when the Dragons scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning.
The Scotties headed into the final inning on the road clinging to a one-run lead. Glasgow built that lead by scoring four runs in the top of the fifth inning.
Keaton Haynes led off by drawing a walk. Peyton Lemily followed and hit a single that pushed Haynes to third base.
Haynes scored from there during Thomas Glass’s at-bat on a wild pitch. Glass then hit a single and drove in Lemily.
After an out, Landon Martin drew a walk to put runners at first and second. After another out, Hudson Gumm drove in Martin with a double. Glass eventually scored and Gumm made it to third on a throw to the infield.
That set the Scotties ahead 6-4.
The Dragons cut the lead to 6-5 with a solo home run to start the bottom of the fifth.
Gumm led Glasgow at the plate with two hits, including the double, while Lemily and Steven Garrett each also had two hits. Glass, Martin, JP Pitcock and Carter Hodges each posted a hit.
Garett Shields pitched 5 and a third innings. He allowed eight hits, struck out five and walked four. Steven Garrett pitched an inning, allowed five hits and struck out three.
The Scotties return to action Saturday at 11 a.m. at home against Franklin-Simpson.
