Chester Byron Mills, Glasgow

Chester Byron Mills, 79, Glasgow, died Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. A native of Hiseville, he was a son of the late Chester and Pauline Parker Mills.

He was a retired master mechanic at SKF in Glasgow with 40 years of service. He was actively involved with tractor pulling and was a member of the Southern Kentucky Hot Rod Association. He was a fan of NASCAR and was an outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a member of the Hiseville Masonic Lodge and the Rolling Hills United Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Doris; one son, Bobby Mills; one daughter, Ashley Mills; three grandchildren, Taylor, Dakota, and Bentley; five great-grandchildren,  Leonitas, Leighton, Lincoln, Titus, and Samson; close friends, Kathy and Steve Franklin; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy Mills; and all of his siblings, Billy Joe Mills, J B Mills, Howard Mills, Joyce Humphrey, Margie Pruitt, and Wilma Thompson.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2025 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
