Robert Wray 64 of Burkesville, Kentucky died Monday, September 22, 2025, at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Kentucky. He was born on Friday, September 15, 1961, in Burkesville, Kentucky, to Howard & Evelyn (Johnson) Wray. He was of the Christian Faith, a member of Rose of Sharon Church, and worked as a logger for many years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Amy (Branham) Wray, whom he wed on June 30, 1981, and brother, Roger Wray.
He is survived by his children, Kim (& Bret) Wray-Dyer, Nathan (& Jessica) Wray, both of Burkesville; siblings, Rondall (& Julie) Wray, Charles (& Beverly) Wray, Joe (& Felicia) Wray, Jackie Craft, and Judy Craft, all of Burkesville, Kentucky; grandchildren, Bailey Wray, Hailey Wray, Katelyn Wray, Maddison Wray, Olivia Dyer, a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.
The funeral service will be held at 2PM Friday, September 26, 2025 in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Todd Huckleby officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 25, 2025, beginning at 3:00PM until the funeral hour on Friday afternoon. Burial will be in the Wray Family Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky.
