Barbara Ann Coffey, 66 of Edmonton died Monday, August 25, 2025, at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. She was born March 1, 1959, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky to the late Thurman Coffey and Annie Brown Settles. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her brother Kenneth Coffey and sister Bonnie Hubbard.
Barbara was a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church. She found great joy in her relationships with her loved ones, cherishing every moment spent with her kids and grandchildren. Barbara will be remembered as a nurturing soul whose love knew no bounds, a dedicated family member, and a cherished friend. The simplicity of her life’s pleasures and her commitment to those she loved will leave a lasting impression on all who were fortunate to know her.
She is survived by her daughter, Shelly (Cam) Saltsman; her son, Troy (Michelle) Edwards; grandchildren, Trevor (Savannah) Saltsman, Brianna (Jase) Garmon, Branch Edwards, and Remi Edwards; great granddaughter Maelyn Garmon; adopted sister, Tina Coffey; her special cousin and friend, Lisa Ervin; special niece, Shaina Coffey; brothers, Tommy (Carolyn) Coffey and Bobby Coffey and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Barbara Coffey will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 29,2025, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday and after 8:00 AM Friday until time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Butler Funeral Home to help with funeral expense.
