Wilma Bratcher Harrod of Rockfield Kentucky passed away in her residence on June 7, 2024. She was born November 23, 1939 in Warren County, Kentucky to parents William Paul Key and Mary Frances Spears Key.
Wilma retired from Holley as an assembly line worker after over 40 years of work. She was a member of VFW and American Legion. Wilma was a member of White Stone Baptist church where she loved to attend. She enjoyed reading her bible, tending to her flower garden, spending time with her beloved family and friends. She loved her animals, shopping and playing bingo. Wilma never met a stranger and her door was open to all.
Wilma was preceded in death by her mother Mary Frances Key, father William Paul Key, husband Adrian Gilbert (Sam) Bratcher, husband Ben Harrod, daughter Anita Brown Whittaker, Sister Marylin Rodriguez
Wilma is survived by 3 Children, Brenda (James) Jones, Sammy (Lisa) Bratcher, Sabrina (Gary) Keown
Her grandchildren April and Greg Hunt, Chris and Carrie Jones, Jeremiah Jones and Tammy, James and Candy Brown, Ashley Whittaker, Bradley and Ashley Whittaker, Brandon Bratcher and Lycrecia, Skyler Bratcher, Wesley and Jay Hite, Travis Hite, Dylan Hite, Sherman Keown and Miriam. Seth and Ashley Keown. Several great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild
Her survivors include siblings Danny and Judy Key, Connie and Dennis Justice as well as a brother in law Marco Rodriguez and son in law Randy Whittaker
She is also survived by her four fur babies AJ, Buddy, Piper, and Ellie-Mae
She is survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are being held at J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 12 from 03:00 PM-08:00 PM and Thursday, June 13 from 09:00 AM-12:00 AM with the Funeral at 12:00 PM on Thursday, June 13. Burial at Fairview Cemetery #2 to follow.
