James Randall Clemons

James Randall Clemons, age 79, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (June 05, 2024) at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes surrounded by his loving wife, children and family.

He was born on February 18, 1945 in Grayson County, KY, the son of the late Arthur and Elsie Hill Clemons.

A proud veteran of the US Army, Randall was a retired civil servant farmer who enjoyed playing poker, going to the casino boat to play cards, and spending time with his family. He was a member the American Legion Post 81 and the St. Joseph Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 55 years, Judy Charbonneau Clemons of Leitchfield; two sons, Tony and Chuck Clemons, both of Leitchfield; a daughter, Bobbie Jo Clemons of Caneyville, KY; two grandsons, Brandon and Carter Clemons, both of Leitchfield; a granddaughter, Tonya Clemons, also of Leitchfield; two brothers, Russell and Larry Clemons, both of Leitchfield; and three sisters, Faye Milliner of St. Paul, KY, Karen Herrick of Elizabethtown, KY & Coreen Moore of Clarkson, KY. Several nieces, nephews and a host of friends also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Marcus and Irene Charbonneau; and four brothers, Lawrence, Tommy, Carmel and Carlos Clemons.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, (June 12, 2024) at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the St. Anthony Catholic Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time to move to the church for services.
