Garry Dale McClellan, 76, of Glasgow, Kentucky went home to be with Jesus Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green surrounded by his loved ones. He was born November 26, 1947 in Glasgow, Kentucky to the late Judson Zonie McClellan and Pauline Smith McClellan, who survives.
Garry graduated from Park City High School Class of 1965 and was a proud United States Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He retired from Eaton Axle/Dana Corp. as a maintenance man. Garry loved dancing, fishing, gardening, car shows, estate sales, traveling, and life in general. He loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and was a member of New Salem United Methodist Church. Garry never knew a stranger and will be sorely missed by many friends and family far and wide.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his partner, Susan Mikesell; two sons, Mickey McClellan (Linda) and Marty McClellan; four grandchildren, Cody, Jacob, Dakota, Destiny; two great grandchildren, Lukka and Elloise; two siblings, Martha Hawks (Doug) of Finney and Loretta Greene (Ed) of New Mexico; and his children’s mother, Brenda McCoy McClellan.
The funeral service for Mr. McClellan will be held 12:00 PM Thursday, June 6th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the New Salem Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by DAV Chapter #20. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Thursday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
