Bruce Denham, age 95 of Chalybeate, departed this life on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green. The Edmonson County native was born on August 20, 1928 to the late Elzie Truman and Mary Nancy Denham.
Bruce served Edmonson County as a constable for over 40 years. He was a co-owner of Denham Auto Sales with his brother and nephew, Noel and Jon. He was of the Baptist faith. Bruce was quite the character. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to joke and pull pranks.
He leaves to honor his memory— his daughter, Julie Denham of Elizabethtown; a sister, Jasmine Hatcher; nephews, Jon Denham and Rick Vincent (Janice); a niece, Nancy Robin Wadsworth (Phil), along with several great nephews, nieces, friends and neighbors that thought the world of him. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Noel, Dewell and a brother they lost in his teens.
Interment will be in Kinser Cemetery.
