Douglas “Doug” Constant, age 61, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Sunday, (November 12, 2023) at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes in Leitchfield, KY.
He was born on July 25, 1962 in Grayson County, KY, the son of the late Doug Constant and Carla Harned (Constant) Kuhn.
He was a brick layer who enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, and watching U of L Basketball. He was a member of the Short Creek United Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his children, Bridgett Willett & Ashley Ritchie (Shawn) both of Louisville, Caleb Constant of Clarkson; a step-son, Christian Decker of Elizabethtown, KY; seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Brianna, Derek, Sierra, Kassidy, Nolan & Josh; one brother, James Constant (Lori) of Louisville; a sister, Angela Braunig (Bill) of Clarkson; his step-father, George Kuhn of Louisville; and his wife, April Woosley Constant of Caneyville. Three nephews, Christopher, James Jr., & Dylan; and two nieces, Chelsea and Tabitha, also survive.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Constant.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, (November 18, 2023) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Ronald Renfro will be officiating. Burial will be in the Short Creek United Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
