RICHMOND, KY (June 2, 2023) The Kentucky State Police have released an update regarding the inmate who escaped from the Bluegrass Career and Development Center Thursday morning.
Tyler J. Blevins, 32, of Vanceburg, walked away from the facitlity in Richmond. Blevins was serving a sentence for trafficking in methamphetamine 2nd degree, posession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and burglary 1st degree.
The Maysville Police Department contacted KSP just before 8:00am with information that Tyler J. Blevins has been arrested. He is charged with escape 2nd degree and lodged in the Mason County Detention Center.
