David Lencoy and Judith Ann Hume Bishop were dearly loved by all from Kentucky to Florida. David was a proud United States Army Veteran and Judy was a caretaker to so many. Together, they built an incredible life together and touched many lives. They were able to help and teach loved ones, friends, and acquaintances. David and Judy did this through building a successful electrical contracting business. The gift they carried was the desire to drop everything to help others when needed. They never failed to build up those around them and lend a hand to those in need, but never giving a handout, but a lift, coupled with an education to help people do better. David and Judy challenged themselves to be better, do better, and guide others to do the same, much in the same way they would challenge their loved ones to step up and carry on what they started. They had an unbreakable bond and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include their son, Joey Bishop and three grandchildren, Sara, Bo, and Zachory Bishop.
They were preceded in death by their parents, Lencoy and Lera Bishop and Ned and Beatrice Hume.
A memorial service for Mr. and Mrs. Bishop will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, October 8th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial of cremains at Old Zion Cemetery following the service.
