James Calvin Hawke age 93 of Upton passed away Monday, Dec. 20th at Signature Health Care. He was the son of the late Clyde & Ester Meers Hawke and the husband of Sylvia Marie Hawke. Mr. Hawke was a farmer, a U.S. Army veteran having served our country in the Korean conflict. He was a member of the Lonoke Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by two brothers Melvin & Roger Hawke and by a sister Evelyn Stout.
Mr. Hawke is survived by one son-Ronald Hawke & his wife Karen of Upton; two daughters-Donna Wright & hus. Don of Hardyville and Wanda Marsh & hus. David of Bonnieville; one sister-Rose Ella Underwood of Elizabethtown; 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 10 step-great-grandchildren and 6 step-great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for James Calvin Hawke will be 1pm Monday, Dec. 26th in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Templeman officiating. Burial will be in the Brackett Cemetery in Upton. Visitation will be Sunday from 1-8pm and after 8am Monday at the Sego Funeral Home.
