Daymond Humphrey

Daymond Humphrey age 74 of Munfordville passed away Monday, December 20th at his home.  He was the son of the late Chester & Roberta Dorsey Humphrey.  Daymond was a deputy with the Hart County Sheriff’s Dept. for two years and served as the Sheriff of Hart County for four years.  He was a farmer and carpenter and a member of the Little Flock Baptist Church.  Daymond was a U.S. Army veteran having served our country during the Vietnam War, where he earned a bronze star and a purple heart.

He was preceded in death by a son Brent Humphrey and a grandson Cain Horton.

Daymond is survived by his wife Regina; one daughter Angie Howard & hus. Zack; One brother Delbert Humphrey; four sisters Dessie Hester, Alberta Crump, Betty Middleton & Debbie Gibson; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Daymond Humphrey will be 1pm Thursday, Dec. 23rd in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with burial in the Little Flock Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:30-8pm Wednesday and after 8am Thursday at the Sego Funeral Home.
